Audi Can’t See
This bulletin applies to 2009 Audi Quattro, Avant, S6 and A6 models. DTCs 00447 (functions restriction due to high voltage) and 00532 (supply voltage B+ upper limit exceeded) may be stored in the lane change assistance control unit.
The message “Audi side assist currently not available” is displayed in the instrument cluster.
1. Measure the battery (terminal 30) voltage to the master control unit for lane changing assistant J769.
2. Compare the measured voltage with the displayed value in measuring value block 1 of the master control unit for lane changing assistant J769 (address word 3C).
3. If the displayed value clearly differs from the actual measured value, replace the master control unit for lane changing assistant J769.
