METELLI receives the uni en ISO 14001 certification for the protection and safeguard of the environment

After adhering to the guidelines of ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001 for occupational health and safety, Metelli certifies its environmental management system, confirming its commitment to protecting the environment.

With its adherence to UNI EN ISO 14001, which is even more noteworthy because the certification is completely voluntary, Metelli confirms its commitment to an approach to work with a minimum impact on the environment, a distinctive requisite that is increasingly requested by the market. This certification enhances the competitive differential of the Group from Brescia, which has been a reference point in the Aftermarket for over 50 years.

ISO 14001 is an international regulation, which measures companies’ commitment to analysing and monitoring direct and indirect environmental aspects, and the relative impacts on these aspects of their own production processes. Knowledge of how these processes interact with the environment allows companies to work towards the prevention of possible threats to the environment, the minimization of operating expenses, and the development of rapid responses to emergency situations.

Metelli’s ISO 14001 certification arrived just a few days after the renewal of its OHSAS 18001 certification, regarding occupational safety and health.
