UFI Filters oil module wins with BMW
UFI Filters, a world leader in fluid filtration technologies, has signed a new supply contract with BMW for a complete oil filtration module, designed for 3.0 l diesel and petrol engines.
While UFI has been developing products for diesel fuel filtration in BMW cars for many years, this supply contract serves to further consolidate the company’s key partnership with the German premium vehicle manufacturer. The agreement is testament to the high technology and reliability of UFI oil filters, which are becoming increasingly widely used by vehicle manufacturers.
Currently, the complete engine oil filter module developed by UFI is fitted on B58 petrol and B57 diesel engines. The first of these equip BMW 340i, 440i and 740i models, while the second are used on the BMW 730d and 740d. From 2017, these filters will also be used on the same engines on the BMW 5 Series and on all other series in the range.
Luca Betti, Director of the UFI Group Aftermarket Business Unit, says: “We are delighted that BMW has placed its trust in the UFI Filters oil module. This is further confirmation of the continuing evolution of our filtration solutions. Accordingly, our aftermarket customers will benefit from these high value-added products, developed to the most stringent OEM standards.”
