Volvo window glitch

Volvo window glitch

This TSB applies to a range of Volvo vehicles, including type 124, 134, 135, 136, 156, 533, 544 and 545. Incorrect, reduced or non-operative power window function may be found.

Volvo has learned that the auto up and auto down of the door windows is not always functioning as desired. The auto up and auto down function can be disabled by two primary causes: low battery voltage supply (including disconnection of the power supply to the DDM/PDM (drivers door module/passenger door module) and a software download.

To finalize a software download or a repair that caused an interrupted power supply to the DDM/PDM or a repair with disconnected battery, initiate/calibrate the door windows.

Raise the window to its end position, and hold it for one second. Release the button briefly. Raise the front section of the button again for one second.
