Valeo buys Ichikoh

Well known automotive supplier Valeo has announced that 32,383,612 Ichikoh shares have been tendered to its offer, raising its stake in the Japanese vehicle lighting and wing mirror supplier to 55.08 per cent.

Valeo Has Obtained Approval From The Japanese Competition Authority

Valeo has obtained approval from the Japanese Competition Authority (Japan Fair Trade Commission) to take the control of Ichikoh in case of success of its takeover bid launched on November 24, 2016 for the shares of Ichikoh, a Japanese company listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in which Valeo currently holds 31.58% of the capital.

Valeo’s autonomous vehicle completes 24 hours on the Paris Beltway in a world first

Valeo's Cruise4U autonomous vehicle has completed 24 hours on the Paris beltway. The car logged a total of 766km, the equivalent of driving around Paris more than 20 times, and nearly 99% of the distance and time was completed in autonomous mode, not counting breaks and changeovers.

Valeo introduces CV clutch warranty scheme

Valeo Service has introduced a new two-year warranty scheme for its extensive range of commercial vehicle clutch products. Terms apply across all European countries with no mileage limitation. Valeo says the new warranty scheme will directly benefit road freight transport operators by optimising their total cost of ownership.

Valeo unveils Innovation Challenge finalists

Valeo has announced the eight teams that will be moving on to the final round of the third Valeo Innovation Challenge. Selected by 70 international experts, the finalists will go to Paris to present their projects to the Innovation Challenge jury in a bid to win first prize on October 14th.
