Brake Engineering extends brake caliper and disc ranges

Brake Engineering has unveiled a number of new references for its brake caliper and disc ranges, underlining its commitment to range development for the benefit of parts distributors and installers in the independent automotive aftermarket.

Ten new references have been added to Brake Engineering’s brake caliper range covering Alfa Romeo Giulietta (2010), Mini (2010) Audi A3, Seat Leon, Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf (2012) applications.

Furthermore, three new brake disc references have been introduced for Renault Megane / Scenic (2009) Volkswagen Golf (2012) and Toyota RAV-4 (2013) vehicles.

The new to range references are a result of the company’s continuous investment programme in its product ranges of brake calipers, discs, master cylinders, pads, hoses and wheel cylinders. In 2014, Brake Engineering added no fewer than 80 new parts covering more than 1300 vehicle applications.

Brake Engineering dominates the UK automotive aftermarket supplying the highest standard of remanufactured brake calipers possible. Each unit goes through an advanced production cell, enabling full batch traceability and every unit is treated with an electroplating finish, designed to further enhance the life of the caliper without affecting the environment.

Calipers are also fitted with new pistons and sliders with all parts manufactured on site using the latest CNC multi-spindle machines to ensure quality. New rubber components are fitted only after being subjected to stringent quality inspection. All units are subject to a multi-stage high and low pressure test, similar to that used by original equipment suppliers, setting new standards in automotive parts remanufacturing.

Meanwhile, the company produces precision-engineered brake discs and drums using the very latest in CNC technology and offers a versatile range to meet the evolving requirements of the automotive aftermarket.
