Gates Corp. Releases 283 New Automotive Aftermarket Parts

Gates Corp., a global diversified manufacturer of industrial, automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket products, has expanded its extensive OE-quality automotive product line with 283 new part numbers.

The product release includes nine new BladeRunner Lawn and Garden belts designed for specific applications, providing exact OEM fit, construction and performance. The heavy-duty cord-pack with dual layer outer fabric wrap can withstand the rigorous start/stop operation of outdoor power equipment.

In addition to seven new Century Series Stretch Fit belts, Gates has introduced a new Stretch Fit installation tool with the release that will be available in April. The tool provides a specific aftermarket solution for the proper installation of the belt on 2011-’16 Ford Fiestas with 1.6L engines that utilize Stretch Fit belt technology on the A/C compressor drives. The Century Series Stretch Fit belts have self-tensioning technology for proper fit and performance on unique stretch fit drive systems.

Gates is first-to-market with its addition of 17 new G-Force and G-Force C12 recreational belts for Polaris and Arctic Cat machines. Belts in the recreational and utility belt line undergo extreme testing, in controlled environments as well as on race vehicles, to ensure optimal performance and durability.

The release also includes three new FleetRunner Micro-V belts to Gates heavy-duty belt line. FleetRunner’s patented belt technology is designed for the toughest applications to provide superior durability, slip resistance, crack resistance, load capacity and belt life.

“Our quarterly new product releases demonstrate our continued commitment to innovation in product development and to providing solutions for specific market needs,” said Jack Ramsey, Gates senior vice president, North American Automotive Aftermarket.
