Blue Print creates new EGR opportunities

Blue Print has further expanded its EGR Valve range to provide even better coverage for this in-demand product sector.

Blue Print now supplies a range of more than 20 different EGR valves, which provides coverage for more than 400 applications. These vital components reduce the amount of nitrogen in the combustion chamber by recirculating exhaust gases. This then lowers the temperature reached during the combustion process. This means the EGR valves increase fuel efficiency as the engine is able to more effectively burn the fuel and air mixture by recirculating exhaust gas. It is important that EGR valves are compliant with international emissions regulations and all Blue Print valves meet this requirement.

Blue Print says that poor quality EGR valves increase the combustion temperature, leading to increased fuel consumption adding to vehicle running costs and making them more prone to breakdown.

Blue Print’s comprehensive range of replacement parts for Japanese, Korean and Malaysian vehicles is one of the largest in the aftermarket. The company has highlighted some of the most popular EGR valves in its range:
