Goodyear Ultra Grip Max tyres OE on DAF truck

DAF has become the first truck manufacturer to approve Goodyear’s Ultra Grip Max winter truck tyres as factory-fit options. Operators ordering new DAF trucks built from week 41 onwards can now specify Goodyear Ultra Grip Max S steer tyres and Ultra Grip Max D drive tyres in sizes 315/70R22.5 and 315/80R22.5.

Michelin launches fleet tyre management apps

Today Michelin launched Michelin Tire Care, a suite of connected software solutions designed to help hauliers get the most out of their tyres. The idea is that as fleets use the mobile/tablet-based software they both get more performance (and therefore financial value) from their tyre purchases and in doing so see the value of premium and especially Michelin truck tyre products.

Falken Tests Low Noise Tire

Toyo Nominates New President, Chairman

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. has appointed Katsumi Komaguchi as its new chairman and Takashi Shimizu as president. Approval of the nominees will be voted on in a special extraordinary meeting of shareholders on Nov. 12, the company said.
