German Design Council Awards Continental Hybrid Instrument Cluster

The German Design Council awards Continental's Hybrid Instrument Cluster with the "Best of Best" award in the Automotive Brand Contest 2015. This German Design Council award honors the outstanding achievements of the design team in the automotive industry's product and communication design sectors. The team receives the award for its contribution to the future of the instrument cluster in the car. The award will be presented during the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt on September 15, 2015.

Tracer Products debuts electronic refrigerant leak detector

Tracer Products’ TP-9364 PRO-Alert IR electronic refrigerant leak detector is certified to meet the SAE J2791 and J2913 standards. It utilizes a state-of-the-art infrared sensor to accurately detect refrigerant leaks down to 0.1oz/year (3 g/year). A three-position sensitivity switch minimizes false triggering and allows for easy diagnosis of small, medium and large leaks. The unit is sensitive to R-12, R-134a, R-1234yf and other refrigerants.
