Power steering hose change

This TSB applies to 2004-2012 Nissan Armada and 2004-2012 Titan vehicles.
If the high pressure power steering hose needs to be replaced for any reason:

The new hose now comes without the pressure sensor.

When replacing the hose, reuse the existing pressure sensor. Replace the pressure sensor only if there is a pressure sensor related issue.

Do not replace other related hoses unless necessary.

Do not damage the pressure sensor during removal or installation.

Always use a new O-ring when installing a new or existing pressure sensor.

Pressure sensor mounting torque is 14.5 ft-lb (19.6 Nm).

Always replace both copper crush washers (mounted at the power steering pump).

Replacement high pressure power steering hoses are now supplied without a pressure sensor. Replace the sensor only if you find a sensor related issue. |
