European launch for ‘Z’ tyre range

European launch for ‘Z’ tyre range

A few months ago the company behind the Infinity, Westlake and Linglong brands in our region unveiled its new corporate identity and name, Zenises. It also previewed an upcoming tyre brand, known simply as ‘Z’.

The new brand was officially launched yesterday, and Zenises says it “stands apart from the crowded tyre market by delivering an unbeatable combination of performance, visual appeal and value for money.”

Z tyresWith Z, Zenises says the focus is upon the European high performance market, and the aim is to introduce a tyre whose capabilities rank amongst the best in terms of value and also in terms of construction quality and road handling. “Z benefits from years of experience and technical know-how in developing market-leading premium economy brands, expertly crafted with state-of-the-art design and building techniques, to deliver the best possible driving experience for European customers,” stated Zenises upon the brand’s launch.

The first phase of the Z brand’s release sees more than 40 dimensions coming to market, with V, W and Y speed-rated, 65/60/55 through to 35 series tyres available. Zenises says the range has achieved a ‘B’ European label rating for wet grip and either a ‘B’ or ‘C’ rating, depending on dimension, for fuel economy. A further ten dimensions for SUV vehicles will also be released, with sizes ranging from 225/65HR17 up to the 295/35YR21. Again, all tyres will display a ‘B’ rating for wet grip.

Speaking on behalf of Zenises, the company behind Z tyres in Europe, Jorge Crespo stated: “With Z, our ambition is to offer the very best combination in price, performance and fuel efficiency for the discerning driver. With Z, we start at the very top in terms of tyre technical achievement offering 35 series UHP tyres and 21-inch SUV products as examples. And with Z we aim to offer a real alternative for the tyre trade as we quickly address the latest trends in vehicle and tyre fitments.”
