Vipal launches VL140 tread

Vipal Rubber is launching the VL140 tread designed for the cargo transportation sector.

The VL140 tread is used on super-single tires that are wider and correspond to two cargo tires. This type of tire is more commonly used in markets such as in Europe where vehicles need to run on roadways with high conservation levels, says Vipal.

With a super-single tire, there is a reduction in the overall vehicle weight, and a subsequent increase in the total amount it can carry.

The VL140 also offers high resistance to wear caused by abrasion, allowing for more mileage and low rolling resistance, which contributes to a decrease in fuel consumption.
