Ronal Group acquires APP-Tech Srl

The Swiss Ronal GROUP, one of the world’s leading producers of light alloy wheels for cars and commercial vehicles has acquired the Italian firm APP-Tech Srl.

Italian firm APP-Tech SrlThe company with its headquarters and production close to Padua in Northern Italy, manufactures high-quality forged wheels for premium automotive brands, high end aftermarket suppliers, tuners and motorsport teams.

The Ronal Group has acquired APP-Tech due to the growing customer demand in the field of forged wheels. The Italian company specializes in the manufacturing of forged wheels and includes many well-known automobile manufacturers among its customers. APP-Tech continues to be run as an independent company under the management of Francesca De Boni. All staff will remain in employment.

With the company Fullchamp in Taiwan, the Ronal Group already has expertise and forging capacities in Asia. Forging technology also offers potential for weight reduction in addition to new design versions. With the acquisition of APP-Tech, the Swiss company can expand its product portfolio for car wheels and augment its capacity in this field.
