The winners of anniversary award WAC-2016 announced
During the Gala Dinner in Moscow organized by the committee of the prestigious award «World Automotive Components» announced the winners of 2016.
This year international «WAC» award celebrates fifth anniversary and received a record 500 applications from leading aftermarket manufacturers to take part in the award nominations.
Winners of the «WAC» award traditionally selected by the Internet vote of consumers, as well as honored market experts’ committee. Every year AGV-Aftermarket agency participates as one of the experts in this significant event.
Online voting for «WAC» nominees started on www. in March 2016 and attracted more than 30 thousand users.
This year candidates were presented in 15 categories. In addition, the committee gave three special awards. The winners of the award «WAC» in 2016:
«Automotive lamps» - OSRAM.
«Batteries» - Bosch.
«Shock absorbers» - KYB (experts choice), Monroe (users choice).
«High-voltage wire» - SLON.
«Engine parts» - Kolbenschmidt (user choice), MAHLE (selection of experts).
«Driving belts» - Gates (user choice), Contitech (experts choice).
«Bearings» - SKF.
«Radiators» - Behr Hella Service (user choice), Nissens (experts choice).
«Spark plugs» - DENSO.
«Clutch» - LUK (user choice), Valeo (experts choice).
«Brake pads» -ATE.
«Brake discs» - Brembo.
«Filters» - the MAHLE (user choice), MANN-Filter (experts choice), «Livny» (domestic brands, experts choice).
«Wiper blades of the year» - DENSO.
Best brand in the segment of «Auto care products» - LIQUI MOLY (user choice), Coolstream (experts choice).
In addition, there were presented special awards. In the category of «Best price and high quality» award was given to ALCA line compressors. The «Best Project of the Year for garage» was awarded Ferdinand Bilstein. Webasto received the award «For contribution in the development of Russian automotive components market».
