BFGoodrich offers extended warranty on tires and casings

BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires has introduced an extended warranty for its commercial truck tires and casings, effective on claims filed on or after Sept. 1, 2015.

Warranty coverage against defects in workmanship and materials for all BFGoodrich commercial truck tires has been extended to the life of the original tread or five years from the date of manufacture, whichever occurs first.

In long-haul service, the extended warranty will cover workmanship and materials for up to two retreads or five years from the date of manufacture.

The date of manufacture is based on the original DOT number molded on the tire sidewall, according to BF Goodrich. Tires covered by the extended warranty must have been inspected by authorized BFGoodrich commercial truck tire dealers and retreaded by authorized Michelin Retread Technologies dealers or authorized Oliver Retread dealers.

"BFGoodrich is known in the trucking industry for durability and longevity," said Donna Murphy, business segment manager for BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires. "This extended warranty reflects the brand's strong product performance and demonstrates our commitment to the hard-working truckers who use our tires every day."
