Time-saving kits

BGA has supplied a range of crankshaft pulleys since 2008 and is now expanding with a new range of crankshaft pulley kits.

These include a crankshaft pulley and the relevant bolts used to hold it to the end of the crankshaft. The range covers the majority of BGAs most popular references, 31 in total and provide workshops with a cost and time-saving solution.

The majority of crank pulley bolts are Torque to Yield, TTY, and once fitted, tightened close to their elastic limit. It is therefore seen as best practice to use stretch bolts only once as they may be susceptible to snapping, possibly leading to engine damage.
