ATL for new MOT system
This tablet-driven test lane has been devised by Snap-on to help workshops prepare for the MOT changes due to take place in September.
The automated test lane is connected wirelessly to the new web-based DVSA system via the tablet, which acts as the driver for the brake and emissions tests so you can receive live readings and enter the results without leaving the vehicle.
The pass/fail guidelines can also be accessed using the tablet, which requires workshops to have an on-site broadband connection in order to connect to the DVSA system.
Snap-on’s Sun range of garage equipment also includes computerised wheel alignment, emissions platforms, lifts, tyre changers, wheel balancers and air conditioning units.
