New pry tool with LED light from GTE simplifies repairs
General Technician Equipment (GTE) has introduced MasterPry LED, a pry tool with an LED light for illuminating the repair area.
The company says MasterPry LED is the first and only pry tool to come standard with an onboard, super bright, LED light. In addition, the two tools in the set can accomplish more than competing kits containing up to 25 pieces, according to GTE.
Applications include interiors, exteriors, dashboards, tail lamps, bumpers, mirrors, center consoles, headliners, door panels, body kits and trunks. The company says the tool allows technicians to gain maximum efficiency yet maintain the highest levels of care while disassembling fragile and easy-to-scratch panels, covers and consoles.
"Our goal is to design tools that make the technicians’ jobs easier and their work life more enjoyable through a fundamental focus on functionality as the foundation around which every product is built," says GTE President Allan Paine.
Additional features of MasterPry LED include precision edges for scraping and tight panel separation, wedged tips, ergonomic Easy-Grip body, no-slip knurled finish and military-spec, advanced polymer plastic. Batteries are included.
