DENSO customers can now benefit from one of the automotive aftermarket’s most extensive selections of OE quality replacement Glow Plugs, thanks to the announcement of seven new Double Coil part numbers available now.


The highly respected Glow Plugs programme offered by DENSO After Market now ranks as one of the biggest in the aftermarket in terms of vehicle parc coverage.

The seven new Double Coil references cover 35 OE part numbers and 215 key vehicle applications from leading car makers. In total the DENSO Glow Plugs programme now includes 131 part numbers covering 1,055 OE references and 4,481 applications. As well as Double Coil, the programme also includes Single Coil, Extended Post-Heating, Ceramic and Instant Heating types.

Drawing on DENSO’s heritage as a world leader in OEM Diesel systems, its Glow Plug programme is one of the best in the industry for scope, coverage and performance. The range offers fast heat-up times, outstanding reliability and extended post-heat temperatures that help to significantly reduce vehicle exhaust emissions.

All of the new Double Coil references feature a heating coil and regulating coil, specifically designed for direct injection diesel engines. DENSO’s Double Coil Glow Plugs also offer extended post heating time of up to one minute. Key applications covered by the new part numbers include: Ford Focus (04-present); Ford Mondeo (00-07); Opel / Vauxhall Astra (04-present); Opel / Vauxhall Insignia (08-present); and Peugeot 207 (06-present).
