Michelin’s new CrossClimate wins Innovation Award

Michelin’s new CrossClimate wins Innovation Award

Michelin’s new CrossClimate tyre range has secured its second major fleet award in as many months, being named as winner of the Innovation Award at the Van Fleet World Honours 2016.

Following the news in March that CrossClimate tyres had been voted Fleet News Best New Product 2016, the latest award was presented to Michelin at the RAC Club in London recently, before an audience of senior executives from across the fleet sector.

Widely regarded as the Company’s most important tyre launch for a decade, CrossClimate tyres are described by Michelin as being the world’s first summer tyres with winter capabilities.

They have been designed to address an increasingly urgent need among fleets and drivers to feel safer when faced with unstable, unpredictable weather – as frequently encountered in the UK and Ireland.
