TyreSafe Awards submission deadline extended

TyreSafe Awards submission deadline extended

The final deadline to enter the TyreSafe Awards 2016 has been extended to midnight Friday 8 April.

The awards, which recognise the work of those campaigning to raise awareness of tyre safety in the UK during 2015, are open to non-members of TyreSafe as well as its supporters. Submissions have already been received from tyre, car and van manufacturers and retailers, along with road safety partnerships, and represent some inspiring campaign work. Shortlisted entrants and guests will gather at the awards’ evening ceremony on 14 July at The Belfry, Wishaw, to discover who will claim the prestigious accolades.

Stuart Jackson, TyreSafe chairman, said: “Across the UK, organisations and individuals work tirelessly to promote tyre safety awareness every year. The TyreSafe Awards highlight the most impactful, innovative and successful of those activities to provide motivation for others to incorporate into their own campaigns. The TyreSafe Awards have always uncovered outstanding campaigns and we look forward to going through the difficult, but inspiration, process of selecting this year’s winners.”
