Dayton truck range covers all axle fitments
Bridgestone Europe has provided further details of its new Daytonbrand truck tyre range. The initial launch of this third tyre brand in the European commercial vehicle segment includes products for all axle fitments – the D500S Steer, D600D Drive and D400T Trailer.
The tyre maker promises that Dayton will offer “essential performance at the best price,” and says its established presence in tyre manufacturing and logistics enable it to cut production costs for the Dayton brand and help “deliver made-in-Europe quality at a comparable price point as many of its imported counterparts.” Furthermore, while the Dayton brand is positioned to go head-to-head with imported, mainly Chinese, truck tyre brands, Bridgestone states that the brand offers the added advantage of retreadability.
The Dayton D500S and D600D are available as of this month in size 315/80 R22.5, in combination with the trailer tyre D400T in size 385/65 R22.5. The line-up will be extended from February 2016 with the incorporation of D500S and D600D in sizes 295/80 R22.5 and 315/70 R22.5. The Dayton brand will be exclusively offered through the Bridgestone Partner network of independent truck tyre dealers.
