The 10th Annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week

Organizers of the 10th annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW 2015) announced its new leadership team for the conference, to be held January 26-29, 2015, at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Nev. The theme will be “Elevate your Business”.

The new event co-chairs are Emily Poladian, global manager of strategic planning for Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC, and John Bzeta, president & CEO of Fleet Brake. The newlyappointed vice-chair is Jorge Mederos, CEO of Super Truck Parts.

The HDAW chair persons are responsible for the strategic leadership of the event and management of the volunteer/staff program planning teams, consisting of more than 30 individuals from aftermarket supplier and distributor companies.

“In today’s business, we are all looking for the best way to succeed,” said Bzeta. “We can all stand to learn more about relationships, and how to best make them work for us.”

“As a supplier, it is important to understand the business climate that our distributors are facing” said Poladian. “The suppliers consider the distributors as vital to the aftermarket, and the continued growth of supplier support to HDAW as the industry’s leading aftermarket event, is proof the conference is relevant to the industry.”

The HDAW leadership team focuses on delivering excellence for the annual conference’s key elements including the distributor education program, pre-scheduled supplier/distributor one on-one meetings, the HDAW product expo and the numerous networking opportunities that are an integral part of the conference. Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2015 will offer industry participants four days of worthy education programs, a product expo with the latest and greatest in HD parts-services and information, peer networking and social activities, and the extremely valuable one-on-one meetings during which suppliers and distributors spend time discussing their businesses and opportunities for growth in their relationships – to serve end-user customers better.

HDAW15 is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy-duty aftermarket industry. More than 2,200 executives and managers from the U.S., Canada and six other countries – including distributors, suppliers, service providers, educators and industry media – attended the 2014 conference in Las Vegas.

HDAW is a business-to-business, executive conference presented by a joint operating committee of industry leaders from 13 distinguished industry associations: American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS), Association of Diesel Specialists (ADS), Auto Care Association/ HDDA, Automotive Electric Association (AEA), Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), HDA-Truck Pride, Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), APRA's Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), International Truck Parts Association (ITPA), Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association (SSA), and VIPAR Heavy Duty.
