Don’t forget that DENSO’s range of OE quality, replacement Ignition Coils has significantly expanded, adding further value to its flourishing Engine Management Systems (EMS) programme.
The addition of ten further part numbers to the Ignition Coil range brings the total number of references to 18 – covering 47 OE part numbers and more than eight million vehicle applications. The latest Ignition Coils are original DENSO parts, featuring the same reliable, advanced technologies that the company supplies to car makers worldwide.
All four key types of Ignition Coil are included in the DENSO range:
Coil on Plug (COP) for dual spark in a distributor-less system, Ignition Coil Block, Distributor Coils and Stick Coils. Each reference has been specifically designed by DENSO to deliver both optimum performance and easy installation.
Small and lightweight, they feature a watertight seal to achieve consistent, high energy output; and exceptional magnetic efficiency to generate a high voltage faster, saving energy. They can also withstand extreme temperatures, resist oil, suppress noise and eliminate phantom misfires. In addition an innovative, compact driving circuit is integrated into the top of each coil. This enables the cylindrical ignition coil to be installed directly into the plug hole, saving otherwise ‘dead’ space.
Vehicles covered by the range extension include:
Daewoo Matiz & Tico
Hyundai Accent Coupé and Elantra
Kia Cee’d, Cerato, Picanto and Sportage
Chevrolet Lacetti, Matiz and Nubira.
