Turbos and switches

The number of cars using turbochargers is expected to rise to 80% by 2015 and Mahle is prepared, adding 15 key applications to its range of replacement turbochargers.

Turbo fitting kits for VAG group models are available ex-stock, for models including the Audi A3, Seat Altea and Leon, VW Golf from 2003 onwards and PSA vehicles such as Peugeot 206, 306 and C5 from 1999 onwards. Mahle Original turbochargers for Fiat, PSA and Vauxhall cars fitted with the Z13DTJ engine are available, and VAG group cars using the BJB engine from 2004 to 2010. Replacement thermostats and related parts have joined Mahle’s product offering, including thermo switches for numerous BMWs from 1975 onwards, Mercs from 1976 on and numerous Vauxhall models form 1987.
