Michelin May Purchase Budget Brand
During a recent radio appearance on France Info radio, Michelin CEO Jean-Dominique Senard said the tiremaker could add an entry-level brand to its portfolio, Reuters reports.
Senard was asked if Michelin could add a new entry-level brand to its offers and said, “Yes, maybe, if the opportunity arises. Maybe in Asia, someday, we’ll find a soul mate.”
The tiremaker’s chief officer stressed however that the company would remain primarily focused on producing high-end tires.
